Summary:

It was all CheckMeOut this week, coming off the back of a poor start to the season, with two losses, CheckMeOut pulled one game back to the 50-50 mark. A four goal first half, set up by a pair by Watson, who would go on to turn the trick along with Davis and Templer, immediately showed who was more superior. Perhaps Pracker's lack of goaltending was the cause.
CheckMeOut entered the game minus a substitute after an injury to Ashby during a basketball game ruled him out. Thus, entering the game short-handed, CheckMeOut were a bit worried, as out of 6 games, they'd only played one without a substitute, a game in which they had lost 5-4.
However the whole team lifted from the absence of Ashby to put in a resounding display of skill and pretty bloody good tending, if I do say so myself. Templer did what he's best at, generating offence, Davis was stellar in the midfield, as was Watson. But the spotlight has to go to the injured Sos. Coming in carrying a slight injury, from the same basketball game as Croft, which restricted him from running the bulk of the game, he was absolutely superb in defence limiting Prackers from a potential 40 shots to a fairly meagre 19.

The defensive game of Sos and McDonald was only matched by the production of Davis, Watson and Templer, who all picked up 3, none of which were definites or sodas. They picked their spots, got away from their man and rammed it home. The end result, a resounding victory, making up for the loss to Harvs, I mean All That, oh wait, no I didn't.

Three Stars:

Third Star: A. Watson - Played very well in defence, offence and the midfield, picking up 3 goals along the way.
Second Star: R. Davis - Similar to Watson, in fact exactly the same, hard to split the stars, but it has to be done.
First Star: C. Roussos - An absolute pearler of a game, while injured. But to be honest could we expect anything less from the only wog on our team?
