Summary:
Well, it wasn't quite NWV, but it wasn't as boring either.
Another absolute slaughtering by the league leading, goal scoring team in the league , and another strong game in defence from the team who now has the least goals against. CheckMeOut never at any stage looked like losing this one, with a very strong team effort once again.
The game was pretty skillful from our side, while the hacks on the other team were lucky to have one good player who was arsey enough to squeeze the ball between my legs for their only goal. In the last 3 games, CheckMeOut has given up a stingy 4 goals while booting home 21.
The game was never a highlight real game, apart from Davis getting slung into the boards and headbutted. Which everyone loves to see (aside from Davis anyhow). No goals really stood out, however there were some lovely pieces of play resulting in goals, nice crisp passing right on the feet and beautiful finishing. Unlucky not to score more, because the goalie would be lucky to see past his hairdo.
Overall another astounding victory to CheckMeOut.
Three Stars:
Third Star: M. Templer - It was pretty close to pick the third, as none really stood out from another, but this week it'll have to go to Stemps, because in my eyes he was a bit busier than the others.
Second Star: A. Watson - Another very good game from the captain. He picks up two goals and was a constant threat all night.
First Star: R. Davis - Another 3 goal effort by Davis certifies his right to be Number 1.
