Summary:

CheckMeOut played two games, but the result remained the same regardless.
CheckMeOut were greeted to the center informed that their opponent had failed to show up, so in good spirits took up a practise match, only to find out with 5 minutes remaining, after a scheduling error that their game was about to start with their original opponents. CheckMeOut gallently accepted the second match and never turned back, the first game seeming to fuel them, rather than drain them.

Without starting keeper Klavs for the second consecutive week, CheckMeOut alternated in goal and it seemed to work, Marty being the unlucky one again conceding the only goal for CheckMeOut but he also spent the most time in there and faced the most shots. Davis continued in on his call-up and buried 2 more goals, one a fairly decent effort, the other a bit of luck. Sos and Butler picked up the other two. Everyone was getting in on the shooting action, even McDonald whose praying mantis kick mid-air just sailed wide of the target. The defender's first goal still eludes him.

CheckMeOut out-played a three-man side in the first half, however could only break through for one goal, via Sos. When the Scissors got their 4th player on the field, CheckMeOut turned it up a notch and powered home three second half goals. Conceding just the one. A very strong result under the circumstances.

CheckMeOut face their biggest challenge this season with Manchester next week, at the late time of 7:45.

Three Stars:

3rd Star: L. Ashby - Was everywhere on the night, should've had a certain goal but was fouled.
2nd Star: R. Davis - Picks up two goals, though one was more than a tad lucky and generally played well.
1st Star: M. Butler - Played more time in goal than anyone else, stopped more shots, and even scored a goal. A brilliant all-round effort.
