Summary:

After starting the game reasonably well, CheckMeOut benefited from a costly own goal from Patos Locos. Good pressure from Davis forced the error, and the keeper had no chance as his own player scored against him. McDonald made a timely stop from a free kick in goal and that was it for any challenges against him, Butler was rarely tested during his stint also.

To Patos Locos' credit, they continued on their path, and in the last 5 minutes of the half, drilled home two goals to send them up 1-2 at half time, with CheckMeOut looking on bemused.

Croft came out and picked up his first goal of the season from a very nice piece of play, controlling the ball and passing it, creating a gap where Croft easily put away the goal virtually unmarked.
In a very tight second half for the most part, CheckMeOut started to come together, taking advantage of their extra player by double teaming Patos Locos' main scoring threat, and a dominate defense led by McDonald prevented a lot of chances, however his hard work backfired when he miss-hit a kick which landed onto the big guy, who passed an off-balanced McDonald and scored a goal to put Patos Locos back up 2-3.

McDonald almost made up for his error though, when he took a great interception and ran it down right into the area, he fired away a dream shot which just floated onto the top of the post and out of play, the first goal still eluding him.
McDonald was in the thick of it again when he fed the ball down the side to Temps who launched a rocket which screamed straight past the goaltender to make it a 3-3 game, a score the game would remain.

Ashby played well in goal during the final 5 minutes and an even tighter defense from CheckMeOut stopped Patos Locos dead, a couple of Davis chances just picked up a faint touch on the opposition to go wide, and then again when on a break-away unintentionally clipped on the back of his leg.

CheckMeOut will say any points are valuable, but this may well be the most valuable draw they've taken.
CheckMeOut return next week for a late game against their old rivals the Gunnas, hoping to break through them for their first win against them. It looks to be a battle of epic proportions.
