Summary:
After a tough game the week before, CheckMeOut returned to CheckMeOut Stadium where they were to face lowly NWU, sitting at the bottom of the ladder, played 7, lost 7. Better make that 8.
CheckMeOut literally strolled through the game, just going about the motions, and comfortably running out 2-1 winners.
Though the scoreboard would suggest a closer game, NWU only scored with 10 seconds remaining, ruining Klavs bid for a clean sheet after the ball agonisingly trickled straight between the big man's legs and only just rolled over the line.
It was mostly a game of CheckMeOut sitting back, doing a whole bunch of not much, and occasionally counter-attacking. NWU winning possession wise, but they failed to test Klaver for most the night, and when they did, Klavs was up to the task, backstopping his way to his first win of the season.
Both goals came from Davis who now leads the goal scoring category by a fair margin, NWU failed to generate any good offense, being shut down time and time again by a 3 man defense most of the the night.
A lack-lustre win, but a win never the less.

3rd Star: D. Klaver - Picks up his first win of the season, and missed out on a clean sheet by less than 10 seconds.
2nd Star: L. Ashby - A catalyst for the counter-attack, got himself plenty of the ball by playing well at both ends.
1st Star: R. Davis - Scored the only two goals for CheckMeOut and gained on his lead in the team.
