Summary:
At least a full squad turned up this week, albeit late, even though it didn't mean a great deal, as most of the team failed to play as a team, or well.
CheckMeOut was easily beaten tonight, and you could sense from the beginning that things weren't going to go well. Klaver and Ashby were late arrivals forcing CheckMeOut to play around with their preferred starters, and it appeared the team who faced Independant the week before were carrying niggles throughout the entire game.
Not much to report really, CheckMeOut had a few good chances, but nothing went their way as the referee failed to call anything on the night, including multiple lobbed foul throws, which looks more like free throws on a basketball court.
CheckMeOut can only hope they regroup next week when they face a running side in Better Emerald.
Three Stars:
3rd Star: L. McDonald - Played just the 15 minutes of the game, 10 of them in goal, but CheckMeOut only conceded once while he was defending.
2nd Star: C. Roussos - Played well despite a niggling ankle problem aggrevated from the Independant game, provided a spark up forward.
1st Star: D. Klaver - Did very well considering the lack of support he got from the majority of the team. Didn't have much to play with, but did his job and was the sole reason CheckMeOut didn't get annihalated.
